Lead Counselor II, Prevention Specialist

What you'll do

• Assess needs of individuals at risk for substance abuse and mental health services
• teach alcohol and drug education classes
• maintain case records and coordinate services and referrals
• provide individual counseling under Program Supervisor supervision
• facilitate group counseling
• help plan and facilitate prevention programs
• attend assigned community meetings
• train new staff on documentation and time management
• act in a supervisory role when the Prevention Supervisor is absent.
