Regional Dietitian

What you'll do

• Review new residents on admission and current residents quarterly, annually, and as needed
• review significant weight changes
• assess pressure wounds and calculate energy needs
• attend clinically at-risk and food committee meetings as needed
• complete section K of the MDS
• write and update nutrition plans of care
• conduct resident room visits
• meet with residents and families as needed
• observe dietary sanitation and dining services
• audit meal trays monthly and as needed
• submit recommendations for physician approval
• communicate with nursing staff for root cause analysis.
