What you'll do

• Develop channel architectures
• perform pre-layout and post-layout signal integrity simulations
• analyze loss, crosstalk, impedance, and compliance
• optimize PCB stack-ups, vias, connectors, cables, and package transitions
• develop channel budgets and link models
• evaluate active electrical cable architectures and DSP/retimer performance
• support device bring-up and compliance testing
• correlate simulations with laboratory measurements
• characterize channels using VNAs, TDRs, oscilloscopes, and BERT systems
• collaborate with design, manufacturing, supplier, and customer teams.
