What you'll do

• Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and designers to make parts to design intent
• support production goals
• machine parts to specified dimensions with little to no supervision
• maintain an organized work area
• use CAM software to program parts and CAD software to model parts and troubleshoot designs
• occasionally use manual machines
• maintain quality and low scrap rates and keep machining centers in good condition
• work in a team environment emphasizing learning and cross-training.
