Memory Care Activities Assistant

Job overview

The Memory Care Activities Assistant role is onsite in Morgan Hill, CA. Compensation is $18–$22 per hour. The position supports residents at Westmont of Morgan Hill, an assisted living and memory care senior living community focused on residents’ comfort and care. The assistant helps deliver planned activities that encourage resident participation and support residents in developing and maintaining their fullest potential. The role also contributes to program documentation, arts and crafts, leisure activities, and safe transportation to appointments, errands, activities, and social events.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities as directed by the Lifestyle Director
• encourage resident participation in planned activities
• assist with documenting and developing programs
• support arts and crafts and leisure activities such as games, puzzles, and movies
• safely transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities, and social events. Obtain current basic first aid or complete it within the first 30 days of hire
• meet required criminal-record clearance and health-screening requirements.
