The Commercial Door Technician role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with compensation of $28–$40 per hour. Dynamic Door Service is seeking an experienced technician to install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors and hardware for its Phoenix team. The technician independently diagnoses door and hardware issues, completes repairs and installations, and performs preventive maintenance while following applicable codes and safety requirements. The role also supports reliable customer service through accurate documentation, inventory management, and professional communication at customer sites.

What you'll do

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair commercial doors and hardware, including hollow metal and aluminum storefront doors, overhead doors, rolling steel doors, fire-rated doors, closers, panic devices, hinges, locks, exit devices, and weather stripping
• diagnose issues and recommend repairs
• service electric operators and access-control hardware when applicable
• perform preventive maintenance and document findings
• read work orders, blueprints, and manufacturer specifications
• comply with building and fire codes and safety regulations
• operate service vehicles, lifts, ladders, and power tools safely
• communicate with customers
• manage parts inventory and keep the service vehicle organized
• participate in on-call rotation, overtime, or emergency service as needed.
