Security Officer, Access Control and Credential Administration

The Security Officer, Access Control and Credential Administration works onsite in Sterling, VA. Pay is $26.46 per hour. The officer supports security at an aerospace and defense location, helping safeguard employees, visitors, and the site. The role manages entry procedures and credentials, screens visitors and deliveries, monitors alarms, and documents activity. Patrols and calm incident response help deter unauthorized activity and ensure concerns are reported through established procedures.

What you'll do

• Provide customer service while following site security procedures and emergency response activities
• monitor access points
• verify identification and authorization
• issue and collect visitor credentials
• maintain access-control records
• screen visitors, contractors, deliveries, and vehicles
• respond to incidents and alarms
• conduct regular and random patrols of access points, facilities, and perimeter areas
• document and report security concerns.

Why this role

Requires an active DoD Secret Clearance and at least six months of security-related experience. Access-control and badge experience, guard card or license, and alarm-panel experience are preferred. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–2:00 PM.
