Direct Support Professional – Specialist

The Direct Support Professional – Specialist role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 8 AM to 4 PM. Pay is $17.50–$18.50 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in Partnership Resources, Inc.’s day program, advancing its vision of inclusive community life. The specialist provides hands-on, person-centered support to an assigned caseload, helping individuals build skills, pursue goals, self-advocate, and participate in community activities. The role also coordinates with families and care teams to support consistent services and daily progress.

What you'll do

• Develop and implement life-skills and recreational activities
• accompany individuals on field trips and to volunteer sites
• support an assigned caseload
• communicate with individuals’ homes or families
• complete daily documentation and participate in care-team meetings
• use person-centered strategies to support goals and self-advocacy
• assist with activities of daily living.
