Its work helps the team select, calibrate, test, and bring sensor systems from specification through production, supporting X-BAT state-estimation capabilities.

What you'll do

• Support sensor integration from specification through production
• develop and execute characterization and calibration procedures for IMUs, GNSS receivers, cameras, and other navigation sensors
• contribute to sensor trade studies and selection
• collaborate on electrical interfaces, mounting, alignment, thermal and vibration considerations, software interfaces, drivers, data acquisition, and calibration
• participate in design reviews
• develop test plans
• document sensor characteristics and requirements
• develop or modify calibration scripts and data tools
• debug hardware-firmware-software issues
• review schematics, CAD models, and code as needed.
