What you'll do

• Set up and operate a hydraulic steel shear to specifications
• stage, move, and load steel using cranes, magnets, forklifts, and by hand
• inspect finished sheets and strips with precision measuring tools
• package material with air-powered banding tools
• record output, print tags, and follow work orders
• follow safety procedures.
