Dietary Aide

The Dietary Aide role is onsite in Christiana, PA, with compensation not specified. Part-time schedules are available, including 6:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. and 4:00–8:00 p.m. Newport Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center’s dietary team works with the dietary supervisor and dietitian to provide balanced meals for patients. The aide supports meal service by assisting with food preparation, following prescribed therapeutic diets, and maintaining sanitation standards. This work helps ensure meals are prepared and served according to residents’ written diet instructions and applicable food-safety rules.

What you'll do

• Assist with light food preparation
• prepare and serve therapeutic diets as prescribed on residents’ written slips
• work with the dietary supervisor and dietitian on balanced meals
• follow health department food-preparation rules
• maintain department sanitation in accordance with applicable regulations.
