Job overview
The Desktop Support Technician is an onsite position based in Patuxent River, MD, with a pay rate of $34 to $38 per hour. This role supports the Navy-Marine Corps Intranet (NGEN) program. The role exists to provide direct desk-side support to customers. By troubleshooting and repairing IT devices, the technician ensures the functionality of shore-based networks and data management systems.
What you'll do
- Manage the resolution of customer tickets according to Service Level Requirements (SLRs).
- Troubleshoot and resolve user computer hardware and software issues.
- Resolve local and networked Multi-Function Devices and printers.
- Assist other technicians in resolving complex issues.
- Ensure customer-related tasks are completed within established timelines.
