Per Diem Physician Assistant, Mobile Wound Care

Job overview

The Per Diem Physician Assistant, Mobile Wound Care role is onsite in community settings in the San Bernardino, CA area, including patients’ homes and facilities. Compensation is $100 per completed patient visit and $100 per hour for required training, meetings, and designated non-visit work. Dermacore Wound Care aims to bring patient-centered wound care directly to people who need it. The physician assistant independently assesses and treats patients within their scope and coordinates with the broader care team. Monitoring wound progress, documenting care, and escalating concerns support continuity and safe treatment.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and wounds
• develop individualized treatment plans
• provide wound care visits and procedures within scope, training, and privileges
• update wound-related recommendations and orders as appropriate
• monitor progress and adjust plans when clinically indicated
• complete timely clinical documentation
• communicate with patients, caregivers, agencies, and care team members
• escalate concerns when needed.
