The Senior Scientist — Pharmaceutical Formulation and Process Development role is onsite in Rosenberg, TX, with a salary range of $105,000–$120,000 per year. The scientist works under the direction of the Director of Formulation and Development. This hands-on individual contributor develops and optimizes pharmaceutical formulations and processes, translating project objectives into experiments and scale-up work. The role supports technical execution and transfer from laboratory studies toward pilot and commercial manufacturing.

What you'll do

• Design and execute formulation and process-development experiments
• develop liquid, suppository/pessary, and semi-solid formulations
• evaluate active pharmaceutical ingredient and excipient properties
• analyze experimental data
• apply QbD and DOE principles as appropriate
• identify CQAs and CPPs
• optimize, characterize, scale up, troubleshoot, and transfer processes
• maintain laboratory records
• provide technical support and mentor scientists and technicians.
