The Lead Teacher, 2-Year-Old Classroom is an onsite, full-time position in Grand Rapids, MI, with pay of $17–$20 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM. The Learning Experience - Cascade supports early learning and development for toddlers. The teacher leads classroom routines and developmentally appropriate learning experiences, supporting children’s communication, independence, and social-emotional growth. The role also guides assistant teachers and builds partnerships with families while meeting Michigan licensing and center requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily classroom activities and routines
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• engage children through play, art, music, movement, stories, and language
• encourage communication and self-help skills
• support social-emotional development
• provide positive guidance
• assist with toileting, diapering, meals, and rest
• document development
• collaborate with assistant teachers and families
• follow Michigan requirements.
