Direct Support Professional – Relief

The Direct Support Professional – Relief role is onsite across STRiVE vocational and day program settings and community locations in Grand Junction, CO. Pay is $17.85 per hour. STRiVE supports individuals’ health, safety, rights, choice, independence, employment goals, community participation, and skill development. Relief staff provide variable-hour, as-needed coverage across programs. The role supports individuals’ vocational participation and daily needs while following individual plans, safety protocols, medication procedures, and documentation requirements.

What you'll do

• Provide person-centered supervision, assistance, coaching, and support
• support workplace routines and employment-related skills
• assist with facility and community vocational activities
• follow individual plans and behavior protocols
• assist with personal care when required
• document services and incidents
• transport individuals when assigned and authorized
• respond to emergencies
• provide program coverage and support setup, supplies, and equipment
• support food-service and customer-service activities when assigned.
