Commercial Litigation Associate — Complex Business Disputes

The Commercial Litigation Associate role is onsite in Washington, DC, with a base salary of $285,000–$325,000 per year, depending on experience, plus eligibility for annual and potential high-performance bonuses. The associate supports a sophisticated commercial litigation practice handling high-stakes business disputes. The attorney manages substantive work across litigation matters, from pleadings through resolution and trial. The role contributes through legal research, case strategy, discovery, depositions, motion practice, witness preparation, and trial support while working with senior attorneys and the broader litigation team.

What you'll do

• Manage substantive aspects of complex commercial litigation matters
• conduct legal research and develop case strategy
• draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other filings
• handle written discovery
• prepare for, take, and defend depositions
• prepare witnesses for depositions, hearings, and trial
• participate in and argue motions and court proceedings
• assist with trial preparation
• manage assignments and deadlines while collaborating with senior attorneys.
