In-Home Health Caregiver

The In-Home Health Caregiver is an onsite role providing care in clients’ homes in Katy, TX. Starting pay is $10.60 per hour. Astrocare Home Healthcare provides long-term care for disabled and elderly clients, with a goal of supporting their greatest possible independence in the community. The caregiver provides personalized assistance with daily activities, safety, meals, medication reminders, and basic care as directed. The role supports clients’ comfort and well-being while reporting changes in condition to the healthcare team.

What you'll do

• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• conduct wellness checks and monitor the home environment
• prepare meals and support hydration
• provide medication reminders
• perform light housekeeping
• change dressings and assist with basic medical care as directed
• engage clients in social and recreational activities
• document and report changes in condition
• adapt care to client needs and living conditions.

Why this role
