What you'll do

• Responsible for overall completion of each task or project assigned.
• Complete assigned tasks in accordance with NNSI safety, quality, and productivity standards.
• Document and verbally communicate well with subordinates, peers, and supervisors.
• Mentor and coach level one cable installers, and assign daily work tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints for pathway layout, rack and ladder rack structure layout, identify fire-rated walls, and layout backboards.
• Possess thorough knowledge of pathway construction.
• Set up copper test equipment and troubleshoot.
• Dress and terminate copper cables.
• Lead small crews and achieve safety, production, and quality goals.
• Train installers.
• Take field direction and build on knowledge.
• Vehicle capable of transporting materials and ladders required.
