The Home Infusion Nurse (Registered Nurse or Licensed Vocational Nurse) role is onsite in patients’ homes in and around Dallas, TX, and the surrounding Dallas County area; compensation is $40–$50 per hour. Palomacares provides home infusion visits based on patient referrals and service needs. The nurse delivers prescribed infusion therapy in patients’ homes, monitors patient response, educates patients and caregivers, and coordinates with the pharmacy, physician, and care team to support safe treatment and continuity of care.

What you'll do

• Provide home infusion therapy, including IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics, and hydration, according to physician orders and pharmacy protocols
• assess patients before, during, and after infusions
• start and manage peripheral IVs and care for vascular access devices within scope and competency
• monitor and respond to adverse reactions
• teach patients and caregivers about medications and line care
• communicate changes to the pharmacy, physician, and care team
• verify medication and orders before treatment
• maintain infection-control and medication-safety standards
• document visits electronically
• track supplies and report concerns.
