The Early Childhood Development Music Instructor role is onsite in Charlotte, NC. Compensation is $17–$22 per hour. The instructor works with School of Rock’s Little Wing and Rookies classes for children ages 4–7. School of Rock describes its mission as enriching lives through performance-based music education. The instructor creates a supportive environment where young students learn music fundamentals through lessons, rehearsals, and musical activities. Lesson planning, parent communication, and participation in the school program support students’ development and engagement.

What you'll do

• Provide music instruction through private lessons and shows
• teach music fundamentals
• create and document lesson plans
• communicate student progress to parents
• remain accessible to students and parents at the school
• assist with rehearsals, school maintenance, and student recruitment and enrollment
• support program execution during canceled lessons.

Why this role
