What you'll do

• Prepare, cook, and present meals following standardized recipes and dietary requirements
• meet quality, taste, and presentation expectations
• maintain a clean, organized, sanitary kitchen and follow food safety regulations
• assist with menu planning and meal preparation for daily meals and special events
• follow portion control and assist with inventory
• work with the dietary team on residents’ dietary needs
• engage with residents about dining preferences
• inspect food storage, stocking, labeling, and rotation
• follow community and health department standards
• assist with training and supporting kitchen team members as needed.
