Lead Driver — Class A CDL

Job overview

The Lead Driver role is based at AMECO’s Evansville, IN facility, with primarily local travel within an approximate 200-mile radius. Compensation is $25–$28 per hour. AMECO provides construction site services, product distribution, and equipment rental. The driver delivers and picks up materials, supplies, and rental equipment for local customers and project sites. The role supports safe, timely deliveries through vehicle inspections, accurate paperwork, customer service, and compliance with transportation and company safety requirements.

What you'll do

• Deliver and pick up materials, supplies, and rentals
• load, unload, move, or store products, including with a forklift when needed
• complete paperwork and logs
• conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and report maintenance concerns
• maintain truck appearance
• resolve customer concerns
• follow DOT regulations and company safety procedures
• cross-train and provide backup branch support as requested.
