The Cook – Hot Choice Buffet role is onsite in Las Cruces, NM. Pay is $13.50–$14.50 per hour. The position supports the Golden Corral franchise’s buffet food production and guest service. The Cook prepares and maintains hot buffet products to meet recipe, freshness, quality, and food-safety standards. The role also supports kitchen operations through inventory, equipment care, cleanliness, and courteous guest assistance.

What you'll do

• Prepare Hot Choice Buffet products, including carving and display-cooking items, according to recipes and procedures
• grill items to standards and keep fried products fresh and hot
• restock display cooking items or assist guests with carved meats when needed
• follow buffet production and shelf-life procedures
• maintain product temperatures and inventory
• complete opening and closing procedures
• maintain equipment
• rotate products using FIFO
• check inventory with the manager
• keep the hot-cook area and smallwares clean
• follow local health department laws
• assist guests and maintain professional communication.
