Sterile Processing Technician Team Lead — Nights

The Sterile Processing Technician Team Lead role is onsite in Columbus, OH, with a 2 p.m.–10:30 p.m. Monday–Friday schedule and occasional holidays; compensation is not specified. The role supports sterile processing in a teaching hospital and Level I Trauma Center environment. The lead coordinates daily sterile processing workflow, ensuring surgical instruments and supplies are prepared, decontaminated, sterilized, assembled, packaged, and distributed appropriately. The role also supports quality, inventory, regulatory compliance, staff mentoring, and instrument tracking.

What you'll do

• Lead daily sterile processing operations and support department workflow
• coordinate preparation, decontamination, sterilization, assembly, packaging, and distribution of surgical instruments and supplies
• ensure instruments are cleaned, sterilized, and functioning before patient use
• support quality initiatives, inventory management, and regulatory compliance
• mentor staff and coordinate workflow
• use Censitrac and other documentation systems for instrument tracking and quality standards.
