The Pharmacist role is onsite in Fort Myers, FL, with compensation of $60–$70 per hour. The pharmacist joins OnePoint Patient Care’s closed-door pharmacy team, which serves the pharmaceutical needs of hospice patients. The role evaluates prescriptions, supports safe medication therapy, and collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. It contributes to patient care by maintaining accurate medication profiles, advising on therapy, and ensuring medication handling and pharmacy practice meet applicable requirements.

What you'll do

• Evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness, dosage, interactions, and route
• collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• maintain patient profiles and medication histories
• recommend medication therapy changes and optimizations
• implement medication safety policies
• ensure regulatory compliance. Specialized tasks may include work in the controlled drugs room, supervising medication prepacking or IV preparation, and supporting facility-based dispensing machines.
