Infant Classroom Supervisor

The Infant Classroom Supervisor role is an onsite, full-time position in Suffolk, VA. Pay is $17–$17.50 per hour. The supervisor works in the infant and toddler classrooms at Oak and Lily Academy and reports to the Director. The role exists to oversee classroom operations while remaining a working supervisor. It supports safe care and consistent staffing, maintains classroom medication and health-related information, and coordinates with other supervisors and administration on events, activities, and classroom coverage.

What you'll do

• Supervise infant classrooms while working in the classroom
• maintain medications for infant and toddler classrooms
• track medical-community updates affecting the school, including outbreaks and CDC or Department of Health recommendations
• participate in planning events and activities
• coordinate with supervisors and administration to fill classroom gaps and help supervise other areas when needed. Requires CPR/first aid certification, two years of childcare experience, and supervisory experience
• MAT training is a plus.
