The Managing Director role is remote. Compensation is $140,000–$190,000 per year. The position is with a wealth management firm’s platform serving registered investment advisors and their clients. As the founding tax hire, the Managing Director builds and leads the tax function, oversees complex tax return preparation and review, and provides year-round tax advisory integrated with clients’ broader wealth strategies.

What you'll do

• Build the tax division, processes, workflows, and technology stack
• oversee preparation and review of individual, trust, corporate, and partnership returns
• provide tax planning and advisory to high-net-worth clients
• collaborate with RIA advisors and participate in client and prospect meetings
• help define service and pricing models
• communicate tax matters to clients and advisors.
