Security Technician — Access Control and CCTV

The Security Technician role is onsite in Chico, CA. Compensation is not specified. The role exists to install, configure, and troubleshoot integrated security systems while meeting site security and safety requirements. It contributes to reliable access control, video surveillance, and intrusion detection through field installation and head-end system work.

What you'll do

• Install and terminate access control devices
• install and configure CCTV cameras, recording equipment, and video management systems
• run and terminate low-voltage cabling
• install and service access control panels and head-end equipment
• program and troubleshoot security software
• read blueprints and wiring schematics
• test systems and troubleshoot connectivity, power, and device communication
• coordinate with IT when required
• maintain organized work areas and follow OSHA and site-specific security protocols.

Why this role
