Procurement Specialist

The Procurement Specialist role is onsite in El Cajon, CA, with a standard 9/80 schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and every other Friday off. Compensation is $72,384–$100,000 per year. The role supports Q Microwave’s precision RF manufacturing and its production and engineering teams. The specialist converts production and engineering demand into purchase orders, secures supplier commitments, and manages orders and supply risks to protect customer delivery. The role coordinates with planning, production, engineering, quality, stockroom, shipping and receiving, finance, and suppliers.

What you'll do

• Review MRP/ERP demand and create purchase requisitions and purchase orders
• obtain supplier confirmations
• negotiate price, lead time, quantities, and terms
• manage and expedite open orders
• maintain supplier relationships and performance records
• address delivery, quality, shortage, and nonconforming-material issues
• support applicable compliance requirements
• resolve receiving and documentation issues
• analyze spend, lead times, supplier performance, and inventory exposure
• participate in operating reviews and improvement activities.
