What you'll do

• Read diet cards and production orders
• place utensils, napkins, and condiments on trays
• prepare sandwiches, salads, soups, and beverages
• prepare soft or liquid diet foods using a blender
• portion food according to diet cards
• check trays for completeness and quality
• deliver trays to residents
• collect dishes and return carts
• store food and supplies
• wash dishes and clean work areas
• dispose of garbage
• record special food items served.
