Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide role is onsite in Annapolis, MD. Compensation is $15.70–$17.50 per hour. FutureCare’s Annapolis center provides rehabilitation and care services as part of its healthcare operations. The aide keeps facility linens and resident clothing clean, sanitized, and properly distributed. Following laundry schedules, safety guidance, and infection-control procedures helps maintain sanitary conditions and meet facility needs.

What you'll do

• Follow oral and written instructions and laundry schedules
• follow material safety data sheets
• adjust water temperature valves
• handle clean and soiled laundry appropriately
• collect and sort laundry and linens
• select proper wash cycles
• follow cleaning and infection-control procedures
• distribute clean laundry and resident clothing
• keep equipment and work areas clean
• report damaged garments or linens.

Why this role
