What you'll do

• Locate and mark underground water, wastewater, and reclaimed-water services using maps and tools
• assist with installation, locating, and repair of water distribution infrastructure, including mains, service lines, hydrants, valves, pressure-reducing valves, and meters
• perform routine servicing, corrective maintenance, inspections, and minor preventive maintenance
• read diagrams, as-builts, maps, and design drawings
• operate and maintain vehicles, equipment, and tools
• maintain grounds and buildings
• keep accurate utility-location records
• follow safety procedures and inventory controls.
