What you'll do

• Review plans, specifications, and RFPs
• prepare cost and labor estimates
• identify risks and opportunities
• solicit and qualify subcontractor and supplier quotes
• develop scopes of work and basis-of-estimate supplements
• collaborate with junior estimators, coordinators, and project management on bids, handoffs, and buy-outs
• maintain preconstruction standards and pursue continuing education.
