The CDL B Driver is an onsite role based in Mills River, NC. Compensation is $25.00–$25.50 per hour. This role supports the PODS storage and logistics team in providing efficient container delivery services. The role exists to ensure the safe and timely delivery and pickup of storage containers at customer locations. The driver operates commercial vehicles with specialized lift mechanisms, performs vehicle inspections, and maintains high standards of customer service and equipment maintenance.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a commercial truck with a patented lift mechanism to load and unload containers at customer sites.
• Perform and log daily pre and post trip inspections of commercial vehicle and lift.
• Accept add-on deliveries as required.
• Use company handheld computer for delivery verification and navigation.
• Operate a forklift and/or an overhead crane.
• Clean and inspect containers.
• Coordinate rental paperwork and payment with the customer.
• Communicate with the Driver Lead or Market Manager on customer questions and/or issues.
• Perform repairs of containers and lifts in the field and at the storage center.
