The role also supports treatment planning, staff training, emergency response, and protection of client confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Collaborate on medical aspects of admissions
• coordinate follow-up appointments and referrals
• review medical data and records
• assess nursing implications and communicate with physicians
• monitor acute and chronic conditions
• provide emergency care and coordinate higher-level referrals when appropriate
• support staff and treatment teams
• develop individual treatment plans
• verify, count, and administer medications
• educate clients about medication effects
• monitor medication records
• complete required training
• maintain client confidentiality.

Why this role
