Residential Driver

The Residential Driver is an onsite role based in Harrison, MI. Compensation is not specified for this position, which supports the GFL Environmental residential collection team in providing waste removal services. This role exists to safely, efficiently, and courteously provide waste removal services to customers. The driver collects solid waste or recyclables on curbside and/or backdoor routes and transports them to post-collection facilities, ensuring compliance with all safety and operational standards.

What you'll do

• Operate a residential/recycling collection, side-load and/or rear-load truck, ancillary equipment, and hydraulic system to collect solid waste and/or recyclables.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip safety lane inspections and reports.
• Maintain route quality standards as predetermined by management.
• Identify and tag prohibited waste items.
