Gynecologic Oncologist (Locum Tenens)

The Gynecologic Oncologist (Locum Tenens) role is an onsite position based in Lansing, MI. in the posting, and this role supports the gynecologic oncology department at a Level I trauma center. This role exists to provide specialized gynecologic oncology consultations and surgical care for adult patients. The physician will perform clinical duties, manage inpatient consults, and participate in a 1:4 call rotation to ensure continuous patient coverage and high-quality care delivery.

What you'll do

• Provide gynecologic oncology consultations for clinic and inpatients.
• Perform gynecologic surgical cases (OR) approximately 3-4 cases per day.
• Participate in call rotation (1:4) including weekend coverage.
• Discuss chemotherapy oversight with transitioning to medical oncology.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team in a Level I trauma center.
