The engineer plans and designs water and wastewater systems and may provide construction administration or manage project aspects. The role contributes to municipal utility projects through technical design, coordination, cost estimates, reports, and project documentation.

What you'll do

• Develop designs, plans, specifications, reports, and cost estimates for treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and water storage and conveyance systems
• perform or manage engineering and process design, hydraulics, pumping systems, and treatment projects
• coordinate with departments and subconsultants
• conduct calculations and research
• prepare recommendations and drawings
• and maintain project files and document control.
