Experienced Fire and Contents Cleaning Technician

The Experienced Fire and Contents Cleaning Technician position is onsite in Chesapeake, VA, with compensation of $18–$22 per hour. ServiceMaster Premier Restoration Services serves customers during times of need and supports structure and contents cleaning projects. The technician cleans and restores structures and personal property, documenting and handling contents carefully throughout packing, transport, cleaning, and storage. The role requires adaptability, safe equipment use, and flexibility when project work runs longer than usual; weekend on-call rotation is part of the position.

What you'll do

• Pack, unpack, move, inventory, inspect, and wrap furniture and contents
• drive to project sites
• load and unload trucks
• clean, deodorize, and disinfect personal property and structures
• label and move packed contents into storage
• operate mechanical equipment
• maintain clean work areas and equipment
• work longer hours when needed to complete a job
• participate in weekend on-call rotation.
