Farm & Firewood Working Foreman

Job overview

The Farm & Firewood Working Foreman works onsite at the farm in Waimanalo, Hawaii, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Pay is $28 per hour with weekly pay. The role supports Firewood Hawaii’s farm and firewood operations and reports directly to the manager. The foreman leads and works alongside a crew of two to three workers to produce firewood, prepare orders, and maintain a safe, organized farm. The role coordinates daily production, equipment use and care, inventory, and crew assignments to keep operations productive and safe.

What you'll do

• Work with the manager on daily production and delivery schedules
• lead, train, and work alongside two to three workers
• assign work and support safe, productive operations
• operate chainsaws, log splitters, shredders, excavators, skid steers, and forklifts subject to training and authorization
• perform equipment checks and routine care
• maintain farm roadways, vegetation, stockpiles, and work areas
• track inventory and complete daily production and inventory reports
• keep tools and yard organized and secure
• communicate progress and issues to the manager.
