The Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant role is onsite in Greensboro, North Carolina. The listed starting compensation is $14–$19 per hour for Veterinary Assistants; qualified RVT candidates may discuss compensation outside that range, and relocation support may be available for the right relocating RVT candidate. Cobb Animal Clinic provides veterinary, grooming, and boarding services to pets and their families. The role supports veterinarians in caring for hospitalized and outpatient patients through clinical assistance, diagnostics, treatment, and client communication. It also contributes to safe daily hospital operations through patient preparation, documentation, inventory, and sanitation.

What you'll do

• Care for hospitalized and outpatient patients
• assist veterinarians with exams, treatments, diagnostics, and procedures
• handle and restrain animals
• perform venipuncture, blood collection, laboratory diagnostics, and sample processing
• assist with radiology, treatment administration, monitoring, surgery, anesthesia, and recovery
• maintain records
• communicate with clients
• support inventory, sanitation, and hospital operations.
