Fund Controller

The Fund Controller role is hybrid in Chicago, IL, with an expectation to be in the office Tuesday through Thursday. Compensation is $110,000–$160,000 per year. The position supports the firm’s Private Equity, Real Estate, and Infrastructure Fund Finance team.

What you'll do

• Oversee day-to-day accounting for private equity funds and related investment vehicles
• review NAV, financial statements, and investor reporting
• manage recurring client deliverables
• guide outsourced accounting providers
• interpret governing documents and partner economics
• review management-fee and carried-interest calculations
• oversee accounting process changes and technology implementations
• manage fund cash balances and review capital-call and distribution notices
• collaborate across firm teams
• and assist with audits, regulatory reporting, and special projects. The role may also include managing the team.
