Working under the direction of experienced painters, the employee follows quality and safety procedures, organizes and identifies parts, and helps maintain an orderly work center. The role contributes to production by ensuring parts are cleaned, processed, and documented according to established requirements.

What you'll do

• Assist with powder coating and painting
• follow quality requirements
• organize parts by model, unit, or job number
• locate parts on fabrication plans and verify completion
• operate a pressure washer
• handle parts up to 40 pounds
• identify parts with tags and punches
• operate crane equipment after required training
• clean equipment using approved solvents
• maintain 5S standards
• use required PPE and follow shop safety procedures.
