Class B CDL Operator

Job overview

The Class B CDL Operator role is onsite in Westlake, LA; the posting lists pay of $20–$25 per hour. HPC Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, provides industrial cleaning and environmental services to upstream, downstream, and utility sectors. The operator safely executes industrial service jobs at client sites, operating vacuum and hydroblasting equipment and supporting cleaning work. The role also includes vehicle inspections and logs, equipment maintenance, and, when needed, transporting equipment or personnel and directing a crew of vacuum technicians.

What you'll do

• Follow company and customer safety policies
• operate vacuum, hydroblasting, and other specialized equipment
• perform duties associated with liquid vacs, air machines, and jet rodders
• perform routine equipment maintenance and field maintenance
• complete pre- and post-trip inspections and driver logs
• load and unload hoses and unload vacuum trucks at dump sites. May direct vacuum technicians and may transport equipment and personnel to customer locations.

Why this role

A Class B CDL is required. HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements are preferred; vacuum truck experience and working knowledge of wet and dry vacuum equipment are listed qualifications. A TWIC may be required.
