Compensation is $30–$38 per hour, depending on experience. The technician supports Pacific Office Automation customers using wide-format production print equipment. The role keeps customer equipment and print-production workflows operating through installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and training. It also coordinates site readiness and follow-up, provides technical guidance, and supports sales teams with equipment evaluations and upgrade opportunities.

What you'll do

• Provide phone and onsite technical support
• diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, upgrade, modify, retrofit, and perform preventive maintenance on production print equipment
• install, deinstall, and relocate equipment and train customer operators
• follow up after installations
• coordinate installation readiness, including power, forklift scheduling, and RIP software compatibility
• complete service calls according to company standards and agreements
• advise customers on color management and production workflows
• develop working knowledge of Onyx software and RIP systems
• maintain service records
• participate in ongoing training
• identify equipment upgrade opportunities and assist with technical evaluations.
