The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) — School Year role is onsite in Salem, OR. The stated pay range is $52–$60 per hour. The position provides school-based speech and language services and collaborates with students’ teachers, families, and special education teams. The SLP evaluates student communication needs, develops and delivers therapy and individualized education plans, and documents progress to support students’ communication and participation at school.

What you'll do

• Assess speech, language, and communication needs
• develop and implement IEPs and therapy plans
• provide individual, small-group, and classroom therapy
• address articulation, fluency, voice, receptive and expressive language, and social communication
• collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams
• maintain records under Oregon Department of Education and IDEA guidelines
• participate in IEP meetings and evaluations
• support staff with strategies and accommodations
• use AAC devices and assistive technology.
