Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Sandston, VA, with pay of $22–$25 per hour. The technician supports Gerwyn Manor, a residential apartment community managed by Atrium Management, whose stated mission is to provide owners and residents with professional, honest property management service. The role keeps the community and apartments in working order by completing service requests, routine and preventive maintenance, inspections, and make-ready work. It also supports residents through responsive service and coordinates with the property manager, maintenance supervisor, vendors, and other service team members.

What you'll do

• Complete service requests
• inspect the community and correct deficiencies
• order supplies and parts
• perform general and preventive maintenance
• troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, minor electrical, carpentry, drywall, and interior repairs
• prepare apartments for move-in
• coordinate with vendors
• maintain inventory and keys
• assist with grounds and litter
• participate in the required on-call rotation.

Why this role

HVAC certification is required; at least two years of experience and a driver’s license with reliable transportation are required. The schedule is typically Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m., with on-call rotation.
