What you'll do

• Provide medical-surgical and telemetry nursing care
• read and interpret rhythm strips
• manage central lines, start IVs, and draw blood
• titrate cardizem, heparin, and insulin drips
• provide wound care, post-operative care, wound-vac care, PEG and tube-feeding care, TPN, tracheostomy care, and care for ventilated patients
• take charge responsibilities
• document pain assessments and medication response
• float to other medical-surgical units or ED holding as assigned.
