What you'll do
- Perform manual milling, turning, outside-diameter grinding, surface grinding, and finishing
- study blueprints, sketches, and specifications
- fit and assemble parts, shafting, jigs, fixtures, and hydraulic assemblies
- machine complex small-lot parts
- verify material specifications
- follow machine-tool safety procedures
- report unusual problems or conditions.
